Description |
It is characteristic of the Reformation Period in Hungary that, due to the Turkish wars, Hungary found itself released from the Roman Catholic Habsburg domination and most of its population accepted the new Reformed (Calvinistic) faith. Thus, the city of Sárbogárd adopted as its emblem the victorious Lamb of God. |
